Christmas Time … Some Perspectives

What a wonderful time of the year! It’s just beautiful to – get out in the cold, the traffic, the lines at the store. Nothing humorous about that statement. I’m serious! It is a great time.

In the midst of this “great time” we are having, remember those who have a tough time around Christmas. It is for various reasons but for some it’s anything but the most wonderful time of the year.

My challenge to you is to be aware of those with special needs. Is it the first Christmas since your friend lost a loved one? Send them a note. Has someone on your street lost their job recently? Take them a meal, dessert, or something to encourage them.

Christmas time can be a polarizing time. It’s usually either the most or the least wonderful season. If it’s “the most” for you, reach out to someone who may be experiencing their worst.

PS: It’s good to be blogging again. Major transitional issues knocked us off for a while. Hopefully we’ll get a decent readership before long (in addition to you special ones, of course, who read this “comeback post”)!
